| Ok for the first time in a very long while I feel the need for a game of 40k.
So can I have a 4 X 4 table please and I am putting out a request for an opponent.
1000 points as I am just getting back into the game. I will be using my old old old Harlequins for the game.
So anyone want to give me a nice gentle game then.

| Hi David I would be happy to have a game against your Harlies. I play Orks. Would you be OK with that? I can put together a gentle fun list ... Seb | |

| Yay finally got in, yes I accept 1000 points and I have no flyers, however I do have a level 1 Shadowseer (Psyker) just to see how the Psychic phase works.
1000 points is still a lot of Orks. I will probably be outnumbered by one of your mobs, oh well bob and run that's what I say.
First real game of the new Edition. I used to play a lot but lost interest.
I have an urge to scratch so be gentle with me.

| Cool! No flyers sounds fair. I'll bring a psyker, too (a Weirdboy). I bet your Harlequins can reduce my numbers easily when they scare the shit out of my orks (no fearless for mobs anymore ...). Let's take our time to get through it. With 1000pts there is no need to rush. Looking forward to meeting you on the field of dishonour! | |

Only some of the quins now cause fear. Death Jester and the Solitare come to mind. The rest are pretty ordinary as Eldar go. I think I have a grand total of 21 models and 2 vehicles. Going to have to be really really careful what I fight. Stoked for my first game of 40k in a year. Remember orks are never beaten if they win they win, if they loose they just go away and come back for another go later. Oh engage trash talk mode, your moma was a green mushroom. I think that covers it!

| Yo! Green mushroom, eh? Hehehehe... Just got my list ready. I count 90 models and 1 vehicle. It's all not very durable stuff. No worries ... | |

| Hey David I found this at "Sons of Taurus" (http://sonsoftaurus.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/7th-edition-40k-turn-sequence-basics.html?showComment=1413331580445#c7502354767701993814). As I find the new rulebook is lacking a clear overview of pre-game preparations and the turn sequence. I still use it quite often. Maybe it is of interest ...

| Steve- who has Bolt Action stuff? I've got the rule book and had considered buying some models. Would be more keen if there were some opponents locally. | |

| Hi Tim,
There was one guy who PM'd us a while back about playing Bolt Action.
I myself have 2 pretty good forces... unbuilt.
What army were you thinking?
Also, we have a demo kit that is being painted up.

| Going to have to remove my request for a game. Not going to make it tonight after all. Luke, if you want a game of Fantasy next week that would be cool, can't help tonight though. (16th I think...) | |
