Necrons - Steve Devine

It's late in the day, but how hard can a 2000 point Necron army be to paint?

I'll soon find out!

Theme of the army is a mobile strike force. Everything is going to be more than foot-mobile so infantry will either have some form of transport or will be jump infantry.

First 250 points (actually 345 points, I do have some ground to make up) will be a Catacomb Command Barge with an Overlord and a squad of five Triarch Praetorians.

Overlord is equipped with a Warscythe, Gauntlet of Fire, Phylactery and Resurrection Orb.

Praetorians have the Rod of Covenant.

Nice to see someone ctually starting the challenge. Painted too much of what I own lately to make an army list worth using so not much point for me.
Saw a pretty cool Necron army not long ago. Everything was Red and Black, including those green tubes, and all unit champions and characters were modelled after a Sith Lord. Looked cool.

Yans that does sound pretty cool, Sith Lord-themed Necrons?! Awesome!

Darth Maul leading a unit and General Grievous leading from the rear. Looked pretty awesome. 
Apparently the greens stuffed Sith Robes were a complete annoyance though...

Almost forgot about these guys!

Sadly, going to have to drop out of this - painting challenge plus getting flat ready to put on the market plus then potentially moving house in the next few months is not conducive to painting minis!
